1954 nahm Sinatra „Just One Of That Things“ zum ersten und zum zweiten Mal auf. 1993 sollte er den Song noch einmal für seine "Duets"-Sessions aufnehmen.
"I Couldn't Sleep A Wink Last Night" aus dem Film "Higher And Higher" sang Sinatra bereits zwei Wochen zuvor in derselben Show. 15 Tage zuvor sang Sinatra zum ersten "My Heart Tells Me" in der Radiosendung "Your Hit Parade". Von Herbst 1943 bis Frühjahr 1944 sang er es insgesamt siebenmal, nahm es aber nie im Studio auf.
"When most of us saddle Old Paint for the last time and ride, we leave enough behind to show that once we made camp here. Some leave more than others; some of memory and some of fortune; some a song. A song can be as fine a memorial to a man as anything that can be left behind. Because, you see, it is gold all can share. We have a great song to remember Lorenz Hart by... that wonderful melody that he and Dick Rodgers wrote for that "Connecticut Yankee." Of course, you know "My Heart Stood Still."
Sinatras Hommage an Lorenz Hart am 28.11.43 – sechs Tage nach Harts Tod. Dann sang er "My Heart Stood Still". Sinatra hatte "My Heart Stood Still" im Mai 1943 zum ersten Mal im Radio gesungen. Er nahm es 1957 und dann noch einmal 1963 auf, letzteres für das Album "The Concert Sinatra". Das Lied wurde zu einem festen Bestandteil des Sinatra-Konzertrepertoires.

"Songs by Sinatra" war eine 15-minütige Radio-Show (ebenfalls ohne Sponsor), in der, wie es der Titel vermuten lies, ausschließlich "Songs by Sinatra" gesendet wurden. Die Sendung lief vom 24.10.1943 bis zum 26.12.1943 und einige tolle Songs aus dieser Sendung finden sich auf der V-Discs wieder. U.a. "The music stopped", "I couldn´t sleep a wink last night" oder "The Way you look tonight".
